Nigeria has been honoured in France for its floating facility, which is expected to add 200,000 barrels of oil per day to the country’s daily production. The facility built by Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria (SHIN) bagged the ‘Project of the Year’ award on Monday at the Africa Assembly, organised by the Oil and Gas Council. Nigeria can stand tall in the world. They can be the platform that delivers shared economic success for ordinary Nigerians, for the country as a whole. Added to the prestige is the illustrious portfolio of nominees, including Eland Oil and Gas, ExxonMobil and ENI for Mozambique’s Rovuma LNG Project.
